O groß, oval, mit dicker Winkelsehne L mit Öhr, dünner senkrechter Sehne und Dorn B// (zu prüfen, ob auch B m. senkrechter Sehne wie Type 3*:115G) P 2 mit Doppelstrich Kleines Final-s a geschlossen rund Verzeichnung im GW uneinheitlich. Z.T. sind diese Type und Type 13:117G vertauscht, z.T mit der falschen Höhe verzeichnet oder mit Type 3**:119G verwechselt! Jetzt der Zählung Proctors folgend und Größenangaben entsprechend Proctor und BMC BMC 118B [P. 3]! BMC 117B [P. 13] = Type 13:117G BMC 118G [P. 13] = Type 13*:120G (Textura) BMC VIII 71: "118B. [P. 3] large text type. A is angular, with short head-serif, C is angular, running out to point on left below, L is of medium size, with thorn to left, O is a large transverse oval with inner twist, P is small, with thin inner upright and diagonals, Q is of medium size, drawn in to an angle on left and with two thin inner uprights, T is small, wide, and low, the sinew of V slants; d is either small, with looped head, or large double-looped, the dot or stroke of i is weIl above the shaft; steep double hyphen. The type is identical with Maurand 118 B. [P. 3, originally 1 = Type 1:118G bei Jean Morand (Paris, Offizin 35)], who printed with it the second, signed, volume of the Chroniques de France, 1493 (IC. 40626 = GW06677). In use in 1492, 1492/3. For later types which appear to be substantially as this see 117B. and 119B. below." |
