In: Ars impressoria. Entstehung und Entwicklung des Buchdrucks. Festgabe für Severin Corsten. München 1986, S. 112/113 BMC I 234: "100, text type, leaded in two books to 108 and 110. In the Burley the type in the text joins on to that of the Printer of Dares, but new (open) forms of E, M, N, and O and the simpler S are found in the index. The' Dares' S is used again a few times, both in the Bartholomaeus, where also the old E is found occasionally, and the Gesta. The bars in the Q begin to be filed or broken away in the Boccaccio; in the Bartholomaeus hyphens make their appearance; in the Gesta and two subsequent books the barred M has disappeared. In the two last books, according to this arrangement, the type measurement rises to 110 and 108. Both of these books have printed guide-letters and the Flores a title-page." |
