O groß, oval, mit dicker Winkelsehne L mit Öhr, dünner senkrechter Sehne und Dorn P2 mit Doppelstrich B2 und B1 mit Doppelstrich Zwei R-Formen Kleines Final-s BMC 115B [P.3*] BMC VIII 71: "115B. [P. 3*], large text type, a modification of 118B. [P. 3] (= Type 3:118G) , the body being slightly reduced and varying from 114 mm. to 116 mm., i with thicker shaft and light dot being substituted for the earlier form, the curl-headed d of 117B (= Type 13:117G). being occasionally found and large Q with thorned double left shoulder and single thin vertical inner upright gradually replacing medium Q. The new Q is not found in the earliest book printed with the type, the 1494 Ordinaire des chretiens (IB. 41158) (= M28182), occurs here and there in the 1495 Vincentius (IC. 41169) (= M50598) and has entirely driven out the other in later books. The type is confused with other Verard bâtardes by Professor Haebler. In use in 1494-6, 1498, and as late as 1506." |
