//: A2 N2 leer P1 mit Punkt kurz R1 BMC V 267: large text type with ornate majuscules, in the style of Jenson 93 GB. [P. 8] (Type 8:93G bei Nicolas Jenson (Venedig, Offizin 2)), q. v., but with doublecrossed and double-backed A, diamonded P, and other differences. The M, which is that of Jenson's type, distinguishes it from Printer of Legenda Aurea, Strassburg, 97A [P. 3] (Type 3:97G bei Drucker der Legenda aurea (Straßburg, Offizin 10)). The feature of the lower-case is i, the dot of which is well to the right of the shaft. In use in 1486. |
