 BMC verzeichnet drei Zustände der Type, vgl. BMC II 484:
 "88A [P. Germany, Unknown Places, A. § 8, type 1, Pr. of Henr. Arim., D. type 4, J. and C. Hist, type 1], Gothic text type. Similar to G. Reyser, Würzburg, 90 [P. 2] (Type 8:90G bei Georg Reyser (Würzburg, Offizin 1)), but differing most obviously in a (upper loop closed in the Würzburg type), o, v, and the possession of ⁊. The F is like an angular Roman E, the E being of a rounded form. Two states of this type while in Georgius de Spira's possession can be distinguished."
 "State i: only one form of S, I, and ꝯ (large), and without ⁊ blunt-topped t ; two forms of C (cf. Ges. f. Typenkunde, pl. 59). This state is found in Breuiarium Argentinense (=GW05259), Summa Hostiensis (= GW12233), Summa Astesani (= GW02752), Jo. de Tambaco Consolatio (M14759), and H. de Schildis Speculum (= GW12296); the last named also contains a colon used as an alternative hyphen."
 "State ii: alternative forms of S (rounded, barbless), I (wrong fount), and ꝯ (smaller); ⁊-form added; blunt-topped t. This state is found in the Ratisbon Breviary (= GW05433) and the remaining small tracts. The wrong-fount I, however, does not seem to occur in the Breviary. Double slanting hyphen; single slanting division-mark, also used as alternative hyphen. For the final stage of the type see J. and C. Hist 87 [P. 1] (Type 1:87G bei Johann und Konrad Hist (Speyer, Offizin 4))."
 "88B [P. Germany, Unknown Places, A. § 8, type 2], similar to the above, but smaller face, cast to range with 88A in the Ratisbon Breviary. The capitals of 88A are used with it. The type appears to possess no v of its own the form of 88A being used in place of it."

 88B noch nicht als eigene Type verzeichnet, sondern zu Type 1:88G bei Drucker des Breviarium Ratisponense (GW 5433) (Georgius de Spira) (Straßburg) gerechnet, im Breviarium Ratisponense (GW05433) als "Type 1:88G m. zweierlei Min." verzeichnet
 Zu klären ist der Status der Quartausgabe des Breviarium Argentinense (GW05260). Formen wie 88A (= Dr. des Henricus Ariminensis) aber mit großen und kleinen Minuskeln.
